It has been a busy mail week...

I started swapping fabric on flickr the other week. It was the first time I've really done it and I'm obsessed. If found some great stuff. I got 3.5 yards of Michael Miller Mirror Ball Dot fabric that is out of print! I also acquired a 1/2 yard of Heather Ross dots that are out of print. I found some shot cotton and some hard to find Alexander Henry Farmdale too! I also swapped with Kelly the small parts on the far right which are a 1/4 foot for my sewing machine (which silly me I didn't even know existed) and a metal bobbin that might help out with some machine tension problems. Hopefully both will improve my sewing!

I also got this sweet necklace I ordered from the Ukraine off Etsy from a shop called Beautyspot... FREE SHIPPING! It looks like something I would make so maybe I take credit for it... just kidding.

I also received my Charming Mini Quilt swap from my partner, Terrie. I sent her some scraps and she sent me this back:

She sent me some scraps and I sent her this last week:

And my last block arrived from my quilting bee group Sew 2 Speak for this quilt top. I have a little more work to do but maybe I can get this finished up next week.

I've got to make a post office run yet today as I've got several fabric swaps in the works. I better run...

Love that beautiful girl mini! :) And your quilt from the Sew 2 Speak bee is going to be fabulous! I am starting to love the solids.

I had someone send me solids about a year ago in a bee and was unenthusiastic at first but found that I really enjoyed working with them. I'm excited to make some progress on this quilt.
