New Apartment - Sweet Craft Room!

Finished

It has been almost 6 weeks since I posted anything and that is because I moved! I've been very busy setting up my new place and fighting with comcast about installing my internet. So not having internet has kept me away too! But finally with the arrival of my first visitors - my mom and my aunt... I got my place together and with the help of RCN I once again have internet.

But the most exciting part of my move, the reason I rented this apartment is the space I am using as my craft room! I couldn't be happier with the way it all worked out. I love every inch of it! But don't take my word for it, see for yourself:

My door desk!

Beads in salt-n-pepper shakers!

Love my built-ins!

A great home for my fabric stash!

My sewing table with a great view of a ginko tree!

My card catalog to organize all of my supplies!

All of the pictures of my craft room and the rest of my new place can be found in this set:

Cheers!

I'm so jealous! Esp. of your card catalog. What a great space. You are going to have so much fun creating things in it.

Wow! What a great idea to turn old doors to a desk and shelf. I have a few old doors that I am getting ready to throw, but i know what to do with them now. Thanks!

Sorry about that Comcast experience. I know you are now with RCN, but if you ever change your mind, reach out to me and I'll make sure that you are taken care of.

What do you troll the internet for people who bad mouth comcast on their blogs? It was a miserable experience and no body seemed to "care" at the time. Thanks for making me relive the awful experience I have tried so hard to put out of my mind. Three missed appointments and being lied to on the phone. I do not think it will be necessary to reach out to comcast... well... ever. Thanks for the offer though... "comcast cares" I'll be laughing about that one for a while.

Anyway...love your new space. I love the beads in the salt shakers. That is so cool. Enjoy.
